Imagine this, two day tournament, 10K in prize money plus a yak of your choice with as many goodies as you wish.

Day one, lings

Day two, flatties

Condition:  One lure for each, what would they be?

hmmm, ok I'll play.
live bait & sunlight considerations aside I'll have to say...
day one-a green rubbertail, 7-9"
day two-white hoochie rigged as a ball bounce setup

Hi Yakers:

I use the Wham-O " EET"  Jig (Everything Eats Them) made to look like a Squid,  and a Anchovy. You can catch some of the Fish some of the time but, you can't catch all of the Fish all of the time. :smt005

Day 1 = Live Bait
Day 2 = Dead Bait trolled

Lures are reactive tools of the trade.  Don't get me wrong, I have at least a ton of lures and in some instances they are the tool of choice.

What am I doing on the computer on the day of the MBK?  WAF Day!  She wants me to go to the Stevie Wonder concert at the Concord  Pavillion.

Day one: One of my special white and red lead torpedo jigs.

Day two: 8oz. jig head with a white scampi.

If live bait was acceptable, I'd use it on day two.

CHEERS!
