Am I the only one envious of all of these GWS encounters?  Well, no, my wife also is... but are we the only envious ones?!

How big a life insurance policy did she take out on you? May want to check ...

She's the one that has swimming with sharks very high on her bucket list... so that statement might be misdirected :)  Let me go double check what size policy I have on her.

Did anyone else notice that an article written about our "California" coast only quoted people from Montana and Oregon?

Also, I agree with Alex GTFOT!

I grew up in west TX ...

Lubbock? I got my degree from TTU.

I also grew up in tornado alley (western IA). My mom's family had survived a tornado when she was a kid (destroyed all of the buildings on the farm), so I must've picked up on her fear, as I never found anything about tornado to be fun...
Are you pondering what I’m pondering?

Yes indeed!  I did go to A&M for school though which my parents didn't appreciate.    :smt044

Yeah, they’re there, for sure. Use the Fishmaster1 test: put you finger in the water, then in your mouth. Does it taste salty? If so, there are sharks in there.

But you look at the stats, the odds. You see how much more likely you are to die in a car, crossing the street, etc. but you do that everyday and survive, so you discount that higher risk. Btw, the highest percentage of shark attacks is in water 5’ or less, ponder that one.

We humans are odd beasts, no doubt about that.
