Weathers not looking too good for taking the kayak out this weekend... was thinking ab maybe poke poling or shore fishing down in duxbury (bolinas) or heading up to the Fort Ross area. Anyone else having similar thoughts & want to meet up?

I did a little research and with the tide and wind, the bay has a little to offer but only in morning wind allowance.  That tide is pert steep.  Poke poling sounds about right.  Didn't look at Tomales though....hope you find em' :smt006

Was considering poke poling. I usually hit the San Mateo coast. My old favorite spot was turned into an MPA and the other spots just aren't s good. A friend and I once pulled 8 eels out of 1 hole.

If a seagull poops on you, statistically it was no accident.

Thanks Eddie! Hoping I get on something I've been on a long skunk... If you make it out good luck!

If you want monkey face, hit up HMB south Jetty. We caught this 26" beast there not too long ago.
Rock pile at the 35 marker for lil' uns. Usually bigger ones near there (33-37ish. my kid found the big one ~@34) but there are plenty there if you can find a good hole, always double dip if you catch one.  Sometimes there are folks digging for horse neck clams on a good low tide, some might be willing to trade for fish.
