Hello Everyone,

I'm Loi. Work and live in the north SF bay. I've been stuck and working from home for the whole last year. I'm trying to get out of the house and get back to the outdoors.
Been going out to the beaches in the weekends hunting for surf perch. Been to SF Ocean beach, Bodega Bay Salmon Creek beach, Pacifica beaches, Point Reyes beaches, and HBM one time. Managed to catch.. lot of fresh air, wind, and sand by getting knocked over by the surf couple times, and only caught a few fish here and there hahaha..

Just got myself a new Old Town Salty PDL. Done practicing flipping and getting back in. Finished getting all the gears and rigs. Been watching lots of youtube videos trying to learn as much as I can. Looking forward to joining the community on fishing the lakes, bay, and maybe ocean soon.

Took the kayak 2miles out of HMB with a friend last Friday 4/2 for some rock fish and crabs. Pretty nervous being first time out on the open ocean. Spent about 4 hrs out there and caught couple small fish.. I dropped and lost my paddle in the somewhere in the water, and didn't event know about it until we're about to land lol. Lesson learned, need paddle strap, and need a pee bottle hahah..

Just pee in your wetsuit when new. Kidding. Sorry about the lost paddle. I left my paddle on shore once
