Hobie Outback 2019+ - Shark Shield

Dr. Dave’s shark encounter got me thinking I should deploy a Shark Shield on my 2019+ Outback,  but no matter what scupper I use I’m looking at contact between the shield cable and propulsion fins. Recommendations? All smart ass and serious comments welcome!

I just hang mine over the side.

I'm just being a smartass and stubborn - glad to have a SS along on a trip!   

Has anyone had any issues trolling with a downrigger while using their shark shield?
