BH 8/12, nice ling

Went out at Bean Hollow today to test out my ff setup, it worked great.  I only stayed out a couple hours because I got sick again, but released two small cabs and brough home a 29" ling, didn't weigh him but I'm guessing 13-14 lbs.  Used large swimbaits.  My first semi-sleighride!  He didn't want to come up, but finally gaffed him, (perfectly, thanks to the pointers here).  And I only lost two jigs   Not a bad price to pay for ling steaks. 

Weather was nice at first, but it started to get gusty as I was heading in.

Worked great for finding structure!  I need to touch up the noodlefoam tranducer mount, though.

eric, well done!  so you didn't get lost and washed to pigeon point with no wetsuit this time?
