Went out at Bean Hollow today to test out my ff setup, it worked great.  I only stayed out a couple hours because I got sick again, but released two small cabs and brough home a 29" ling, didn't weigh him but I'm guessing 13-14 lbs.  Used large swimbaits.  My first semi-sleighride!  He didn't want to come up, but finally gaffed him, (perfectly, thanks to the pointers here).  And I only lost two jigs :smt003  Not a bad price to pay for ling steaks.

Weather was nice at first, but it started to get gusty as I was heading in.

Sorry for the lack of pics, but something happened with the memory card on my camera.

eric, well done!  so you didn't get lost and washed to pigeon point with no wetsuit this time?

definitely an improvement.
