I see a nice weather warming trend starting 3/23 for 6 days plus.
? is how long does it take for the lake to warm up and get crappie on the move?
Thinking maybe give it a try Mon or Tue 3/29 3/30 ?
Thinking a week or more?? to raise the water temp. Read some were 60-63 temp is best?

Will be going out of Lakeport

I wouldn’t overthink it. If you have time to fish go fish. The water is already warm enough that they are biting well enough. It’s only going to get better. Just make sure you plan your trip during a stable weather pattern. The warm day followed by a cold day followed by a warm day seems to throw the fish off a bit and those types of days are common in spring.

Clearlake Crappie and Bass bite is wide open, with work, projects and now little league I haven't fished this year yet, but plenty of my friends are putting a hurt on them. Just an FYI

I'm thinking of going tomorrow...
If you don't know where you're headed, any road could get you there.
