Another Shark vs. Kayak?

Anyone hear anything about a shark attacking a kayak while the guys were diving near Crescent City or Eureka recently?
I heard some rumors.

googled for it and couldn't find anything...

I found the same thing when I Googled "kayak shark attack".

Nothing like that here recently Tote. I'm sure in a small town like Eureka I would have heard about that by now.

Thanks. I will question the 'rumor mill' tomorrow.

The rumor mill said that DFG was taking pics of the 'dive board' they guy was on.
He said it seemed to be foam filled and the front of it was almost ripped off. It was just barely hanging on by the plastic. I think someone up north ( Humbolt ) should ask around.

I didn't hear anything about this either.  I don't know why there would be a hush on it...  I'll chime back in if I hear anything.
