Really popular spot. There are lots of reports around. A bit of a hike to launch the kayak but not terrible.

One of my favorite spots when halibut season is at its peak.  Be prepared to get some scratches on your hull.  If no keel guard, gorilla tape works wonders

Good spot for hali, although it seemed kinda slow last year. Lots of pretty houses on the hillside to look at and a wide hali zone from the prison to the pier, both shallow and outside. As others have noted, search around the posts here, be mindful of tide and winds, and be ready for hali, stripers, rays. Can’t wait!
