Anybody know where I can get some stretchy rubber tubing for my spear. I want to buy a bunch of it rather than pay $15 for a new band at a dive shop. Home Depot didn't seem to have it. Anyone know of a place in SF? Maybe a medical supplies store?
Thanks!

Dive shops should have bulk material to buy by the foot. I have gotten it before from them. Or order some online. Are you refitting a speargun or a polespear? There's a big difference in material.

if you want to buy bulk and tie your own bands, go to wallins dive center in san carlos or order band tying stuff on ebay. there is a guy named spear-it who sells good stuff cheap. i tie all of my own bands since its a lot more cost effective and you can pick the band material more.

thanks for the replies...i actually found a medical supplies place in SF that sells the stuff for $1.80/ft. They're called Able's or something and are located on Clement, between 5th and 6th Ave.
