Limekiln 7/31 - Wide Open Rockfish

Sorry about the missed connection. Your first response said you'd be there the 1st. I just missed the 31st update. According to the ranger we just missed you on tuesday, the 31st. Three of us fished tuesday and wednesday. Wide open on 5 to 6 pound vermillion, big coppers, and unlimited blues and johnny bass.  No one else had responded to the invite by the time we left so Alan and I decided to hit Elk a day early to prefish. As we were breaking camp, Eric (Eyeatbay) showed up. He was able to fish with our friend Mark a little. By the way, thanks for the tips Eric. They helped a lot at Elk.  I'll post a few pics today some time. Again, sorry for the missed connection Scott. I wish I could do it over again. I left a glassy Lime Kiln only to be blown out at Elk friday night. Oh well.
