New guy from Reno

Hey folks,

My name is Ian aka hamp. Definitely a new kayak fisherman, been a dabbler of lake and shore fishing previously but have been getting more into it. Born and raised in northern California, and recent transplant to Reno, NV.

Thanks for letting me join, looking forward to learning as much as I can from you all! Been reading as much as I can about Kokanee as of late and itching to try and catch a few doing some bottom jigging.

I've fished Stampede for Kokanee last June and limited out in just a few hours. The fish were not the biggest, but fun and tasty. I would really like to fish Pyramid lake. Let me know if you want to hookup and going fishing. 

Welcome Ian. I fished Davis lake last October with a guide on a boat. Caught around 15 fish in half a day. The fish bite  from surface to 6 feet. This lake is perfect on a kayak but harder from shore due to weeds. Can’t wait to go back this year.
