Hello,
I mostly kayak fish socal.  Primarily bay fishing for spotties, lake fishing for large mouth, and just started inshore fishing for yellows and wsb.  I do venture up to big sur once in awhile and want to start exploring nor cal too.

Welcome

My wife and I primarily kayak fish in Northern California but we do frequent lobster hoop netting in So Cal.
This year's kayak lobster hoop net has been terrible for us except the opening day.  We got skunked the last five times compared to last season our daily average of 6 lobsters.
Typically I spend every other weekend at Diamond Bar where we have our second Hobie Oasis.  Hope to hook up either Nor or So Cal.
If you need any Nor Cal info, feel free to PM me.

Hey Scotty,
A spottie is a spotted bay bass.  Saltwater bay bass, they are mean for their size and very aggressive.  Super fun to fish and very similar to a LMB.

Hey Paul,
I live in Diamond Bar!  Hit me up if you want to get skunked at puddingstone lol.  Seems like thats all i can do these days.  Although, I have been having some good luck fishing the bays for spotties, and I have a mission to fish La Jolla at least 1x a month.  Appreciate any Nor Cal dope you can share!
