Show me your tackle boxes!  Sorry I don't have a camera with a really, really, really wide angle lens. :smt003
For a kayak all you really need is a couple 8"-10" plastic boxes the size of your side storage pockets or pouches and a small container of weights if you are ocean fishing. Anything else can fit into the pockets of your PFD

In the game of biggest fish, if you can't enjoy routinely gettin' your ass handed to you, by great fishermen, then you don't belong in the NCKA.

Soft plastics in one. Swimbaits in another. One is a reusable lunch bag, the other is an actual lure bag by 6th sense. Guess which was way cheaper  :smt002

Now ya got me thinkin'...  I might pick up a dopp kit to use as a swimbait holder.  Something along the lines of this one from REI.  Looks like it'll fit 7" swim baits no problem.

Like many of us old timers, I have too much terminal tackle to show. I keep target species boxes on my shelf and use them appropriately when I go target the fish I am going after.
As for storing on my kayak, I can just put the trays under my seat and a few inside the kayak storage.
What I have learned is only take what need; no more no less.

I have a 160sqft shed for all my fishing gears. On the water, I just use Costco nuts container with small Ziploc bag for each rig.

Just bought a Revo 13. I added a Japanese tackle box with a shorter depth right behind the seat that has sockets for rod holders.  It also has a hanger in front on which I can hang extra lures. This also well since the kayak only has two holders in the first place that I think are insufficient.

If we're talking about general tackle, I have tubs full of tackle trays and boxes stacked in a storage unit and in my patio.
