Caught 6 Bluefin Tuna on The Redondo pier from 12 to 18 lbs. Caught a 36 lb Bluefin in the harbor with 2 black skip Jack the same day. Also a day in my 16ft skiff. 2 Bluefin to 24  lbs 2 salmon to 18 lbs and a halibut. 15 years old. 1/4 mile from that pier. Ah what the hell happened. Take me back please.

Skiff rental at Paradise cove was 15.00 a day with a scoop of bait. Daylight till 5 pm. 4 teenagers . It was a cheap day. Not to mention a hamburger afterwards and a gunnysack full of Calico Bass,Halibut,Sand Bass, A OCCASSIONAL White sea bass. And yes a 150 lb Thresher.  Another day we followed a Marlin for 10 minutes tring to get it to bite a Mackerel 1 mile from the pier. AHHHHH

Betty O was 8 bucks half day and re ride in after noon was 4 bucks. With a hamburger and coke. Under $20.00.

Pictures of first boat I worked on at 13 years of age on weekends.  Pursuit. 14.00 all day San Clemente island. 12 cents a gallon at the dock for diesel.  Same area I was talking about.

Cheaper and more fish. The good ole days!
