Is anyone up for paddling from Sunol to the Niles Staging Area in Fremont via Alameda Creek?

There are at least two small weirs to hop.

This is probably a bad idea but I’ve always wanted to, and will do some scouting this week.

just now, looks like he hasn't posted to coastside in over 2 yrs, but still checks in there, kinda like the majority of guys that were here when I signed on.

I used to frequent Josh’s workplace and reached out at the time but we’ve never met.  I wanted to ask where he launched.

Check out the creek today and there are definitely lots of portages but I’d rather portage than be in dangerous rapids...

Did some scouting today.  While most of the creek I could survey seems like a cakewalk, I suspect something like this section would not be.
