Hey All-
For those anxiously awaiting on the Covid19 delayed USA shipment details pending announcement many of us may be ordering
some spare parts and accessories. One product of interests is the custom shaped game bag Ive heard they offer at $250.
My concern is how much interference it might invite when stowing rods.
I’d imagine being stuffed with fresh fish creates a good problem to have but seriously might any previous Stealth owners share their review of pros and cons? For what its worth I’m waiting on a Fisha 500.
Thanks and I hope for you the best overall in these tough times.

Okay then. I’ll share what comes of it if I take the $250 risk in bothering with it at all. I actually heard there are issues, no surprise.

To those also on the pending order list, enjoy your new Stealth.
Congrats!
We’re almost there....sort of :-/ many miles to go but leaving South Africa at all is a really big step :)

Man this has been torture. We have been waiting forever. Stoked they are finally shipping. I didn't even know they have a catch bag. Tried finding it on their website but couldn't find anything. I was thinking of using a roll up catch bag kinda like the Seattle Sports one

Yeah its been a long haul. I new going in there were going to be challenges and patience required but then the covid virus got hold of everything making way worse.  Thankfully Brett was able to push onward and at least get us to this point. We still have shipping details to be announced and of course the cross country road trip. We’re several weeks away I figure. Lets hope for the shortest timeline possible for transport.

As far as the game bag...Im not sure how I heard about it being available and yeah its not on the website but while considering it I emailed Ruben asking what he knew about them from other Stealth owners that bought one. No surprises he asked around and replied that the bag presented some trouble with rod stowage. I posted here as well hoping for a bit more feedback but...
Anyway I figure a few things: It’s likely very well made since good game
bags dont come cheap and it really depends on a number of factors:
how many rods, how well its placed inside the hull and whether or not its full or empty to mention a few basic challenges.

I’m getting one anyway because there are plenty of occasions where I only take a few fish and minimal gear. I’d rather try and reduce the amount of fish funk needing to be cleaned out with every outing. Also for me Ive never been a fan of stowing fish inside my kayak. Stringer and tank well has always kept my fish fresh but our Stealths really steer us toward hull stowage. I dont want half cooked fish come the end of the day stuffed inside my boat. I also figure if its going to be difficult to get extras from SA even though Ruben has indicated having some things in stock. Still based on the current timelines to order from Stealth I’d rather have something that works well enough overall and find ways to deal with it. A cheaper option might be best but the expense to keep my fish fresher and hull cleaner seems worth taking a chance.

Cheers Bro- We’re almost there :)

$250 for a game bag?  I am going to have to see it first before I commit on it.

I don't have the Stealth bag, but I've been using a Silver Horde Katchkooler II Bag (40x16") which just barely squeezes into my 500's hatch. It's a good bag, and I can get my rods in with a little fiddling, but I'm not sure if they're making this size anymore.

However I wanted a better option than that and finally found a sweet dry bag that fits into my 575's hatch.

Going to DIY an insulation liner for the bag with a windshield sun screen similar to this:

Alternatively, I can swap out the liner for a burlap sack or use both.

Or I can just give up and toss everything into the hatch! A little dish soap and bleach makes it smell like new.
