new to this site, want to find a buddy to go out with, any takers?  I live in La Selva Beach and have little kayak fishing experience, I am in good shape and would love to get out. I have a rigged paddle kayak 13 feet.  would love to go for some Halibut.

When do you plan to go out? If you suggest a date (and don't forget to mention all of the safety gear that you have, and that you know how to use it...), you might have better luck.

I just moved from La Selva to Larkin Valley. Still restoring my kayak and have a ways to go but should be done soon. I'm new to all of this as well.

A radio and practicing self-rescue are a couple more essentials.
