Yo' Z! Don't be afraid to throw those 7" around and drop em' straight down when you see them under you on the FF.

Note: I got a 15"smallie on a 7"wacky?    now that's wacky!

FisHunter, thank you for the post. I used this new wacky technique last weekend at Clear Lake and caught an unbelievable number of fish on just 2 Senko's. With the first fish I caught, the Senko did not return to the boat. At that point I did not have a very good opinion of this new set up, but I gave it another shot. With the second Senko, I caught tons of fish and after unhooking these fish, I had to untangle an amazing array of Senko puzzles, but that second worm lasted for hours of fishing. I have added this set up in my bass fishing tool belt.

By the way, Congrats on the Ling.

Thanks for the tip FH.  I used this setup today and only went through 2 senkos.  More times than not the bait would travel up the line after hooking a fish, saving it from being torn.  It's not as weedless as the traditional rig in the tules, but still pretty kick arse.  Nothing like having another presentation in your bag of tricks.

Ain't it great when a plan goes through!  Glad to hear you guys had good success gettin wacky!

and when that weedguard gets twisted and pulled thru the band...it can be"puzzling" it's good knot-untying pratice.

Can't beat the senko count= 2 for a day's of catchin!
