Reel service/ repair recommendations in the east bay

Anyone have any recommendations for reel service/repair near Oakland?East Bay?  Was in the middle of landing a keeper hali when I realized my bearings were shot.  Thanks in advance!

You could buy the Avet I’m selling, use it trouble free for a season, then send it into the factory for service when you are ready

Good suggestion[emoji38] unfortunately i prefer lefty and i have a few avets in my stable already. Im enjoying this particular reel

I was looking around for this card...cleaned out my car and look what I found! Lol.

Alan Tani is an obvious choice, but as a plan B these guys are recommended by outdoor pro shop. Not East Bay per se, and I have no direct experience w them, but posting just in case.

He is but I think there’s a decent lead time.
My boss has been fishing with Alan lately and says he’s pretty busy.

I met Alan some 15  or so years ago, and he was busy then.  I would check AlanTani.com to see if there is info on your reel and rebuild it your self.
