Greetings fellow Kayakers,

I've been kayak fishing for about a year, mostly in the high sierra lakes.
I chartered a boat a few weeks ago out of SF for Halibut, all six of use all limited out,
I would really like to start fishing the bay, and or costal waters but have no experience and don't know any launch points, and I don't really feel comfortable fishing solo in the bay for the first time in my kayak.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome!  Enjoy the big pond but be careful!  It's way different than those high Sierra lakes.
