Judging how far tuna migrate during their lives laterally and horizontally through the water column, it was only a matter of time.

You're probably right.  I was thinking the confinement might make the muscle more tender.  That's the way they do kobe beef.

Probably tastes bad just like farmed salmon do.  They probably feed them vegan fish food that makes the fish taste like soy-vomit...
