Hey E Kayaker, article says no visitors from over 50 miles away. I take it you're getting ready to head on up there?

I started kayak fishing to get away from most of you...

Hardly matters at this point, the wind is howling, the ocean is blown out and won't be fishable for a while. We had a couple of nice days but now it's steep short-period seas and 20-knot winds for days.

Must be looking at a different forecast than I am... NOAA predicting "square seas" all week (8 ft at 8 sec, 7 ft at 7 sec, 6 ft/7sec is as good as it gets) plus a long-period crossing swell.  That's too choppy for me, it's just not much fun getting splashed all the time, and with that crossing swell the chances of getting dumped go way up. I'll wait.
