I went out for my first Tomales Bay trip of the season and managed a couple keeper halibut and a 31.5" striped bass. I was fortunate to have a friend hook it up with a private parking/launch spot. I caught everything on a 5" swimbait! Thanks for watching!

A 30" stripper sounds like something you might need when painting your house.

Great stuff thanks for the report. Gotta love friends that can hook you up with a private launch.

Did both poles have swimbaits or was one soaking bait? I'm curious if the swimbait outperformed real bait.

Yeah one pole had either live shiners or frozen anchovies and the other was that swimbait. Got everything on the swimbait!
