I have a new vid to post, but no matter what I do it goes from beautiful to crap when it gets massaged by youtube...is there a better place (quality wise) than poo-tube?

Poo Tube will do that to your video. A friend posted his snowboard film, in HD no less, on his site and then on Poo Tube..

But for free streaming video on the web, I don't think you can beat it. Video w/ action will always look the worst.

There are a ton of youtube clones out there and I'm sure one of them must be better, but I haven't a clue which.  In the meantime, I did find some help from youtube regarding how to save videos for better quality on youtube.  The page even comes with a silly video about it which I've copied to here.

Thet recommend the following settings..
    * MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
    * 320x240 resolution
    * MP3 audio
    * 30 frames per second
