howdy from Calistoga!

Hi all, avid fisherman from Texas that transplanted to Calistoga.  I'm really missing fishing, but not really missing owning a boat.  I'm looking to get into kayak fishing, mostly Berryessa and Hennessey but I'll probably take a shot at the napa river.  I might enjoy the rockfishing as well off Sonoma.  Any advice is welcome!

Just relocated to Calistoga from the coast

Easy ~hour out the coast for lings and rockfish.  Sonoma coast is awesome

Calistoga is a really mellow town

What kayak do you use to fish off the coast?

I have a Ocean kayak Trident 15

But I fished for years with and old double kayak... look for good ocean conditions and pick an easy launch like fort Ross, timber cove or Stillwater and you can get in the mix
