Trout/Kokanee/Salmon Limits

So I'm a little confused on the exact limits in combination. I understand most lakes are 5 trout max, and also a 5 kokanee max. I'm particularly asking about Shasta Lake, and what the regulations are regarding a combined bag, particularly Shasta Lake Salmon. Is it still 5 fish total combined, or 5 of each?

“Trout” and “Landlocked salmon” have different bag limits.

1.57. LANDLOCKED SALMON.
Landlocked salmon includes kokanee and landlocked Chinook salmon

1.86. TROUT.
Trout includes all trouts, chars, steelhead

5.41. LANDLOCKED SALMON.
(a) Open season: All year (b) Daily bag limit: Five (c) Possession limit: Ten (d) Size limit: None.
(e) See exceptions in Section 7.50(b) Bucks Lake, Lake Pardee, New Bullards Bar Reservoir, upper Scotts Flat Reservoir, and Trinity Reservoir.

(175) Shasta Lake (Shasta Co.) Open season all year. Daily possession limit 5 trout.


So for Shasta you can have 5 trout and 5 landlocked salmon.
