Needed more room in the shop so I redesigned my drawboard.

Get the concept, needs a scale in line, why the need to articulate from one side of the base to the other??? Looks good!

Get the concept, needs a scale in line, why the need to articulate from one side of the base to the other??? Looks good!

The grip on a bow is not in the middle of the riser therefore the pivot point needs to be offset so the bow draws evenly.
Most drawboards are a 2x6 or 2x8 plank with the winch and post permanently attached. This is awkward to handle and takes up a lot of space.
It's used to measure draw length, draw weight, cam timing, cam lean, peep rotation, rest height and overall health of the bow.
Depending on what needs to be checked will determine the appropriate attachments be it a scale, turnbuckle or measuring device.

Learn something new everyday. Only time I bow hunted was with my grandpa and it was traditional bows. Didn’t tag anything but had a great season with my grandpa, I was 16.
