Lowrance Hook2 - 5" or 7" - Hobie Revolution 13

For those of you that have Hook2s on their Hobie Revo 13's - did you get the 5" or the 7"? Is the 7" too big? Does the 7" event fit? Asking for a friend.

5”, anything over that is kinda overkill.

Make sure that he gets the one with the chart. The X model kind of sucks.

Yes loaded with GPS... it makes a difference.

I currently don't own a Lowrance Unit but owned numerous Revo 13s since 2009.  I started with a black & white 3.5 inch (common back then) then a 5 inch screen. For the past 6 years Ive been using a 7 inch screen.  Never going back to anything smaller.

Where is it mounted? I currently mount my Garmin on yakattack geartrack on the right.
