Spent four hours beating the east side of the kelp at the light house for not even a nibble, then the bite turned on and I caught 3 nice rockfish and a 23.5 inch hali on a fishtrap between 6:30 and 7:00 pm. Moderate wind that turned into a pain of an offshore wind about  7 instead of dying down and I called  it a day.

WTG Casey!

I was at the lane watching you for a while with the glases, around 3:30.  You weren't catching anything.  I was wishing I had my radio to advise you to go around the corner to It's Beach for flatties.  Looked perfect in there!

Glad you stuck it out and got your reward.

You are becoming #1 halibut guy in SC!
