Stil paying housekeeper and the nanny, even tho both servics are currently suspendd and their staying home.  Each them chex is highly material for em, n we r commitd 2 continu doing so.

mest up as it is hear, my lawyer friend in Milan says we havit ez compared to Italy, where the cabinieri are enforcing national draconian orders.  elderly inflictd r dropping like an 8oz jig, and everyone is skeerd ah

My mom has been talking to my great aunt(90) and cousin almost daily. They are in northern italy and living through the madness. My cousin is frontline medical. He wont say how bad it really is but I can hear it in his voice. The next two weeks here will change our generation's optics forever.

Yes, stressful times indeed.  I'm working retail and having customers cough and sneeze on you, or a co-worker that thinks covid-19 is fake news that does the same and handles common equipment, makes it tough to stay.  The employer would have a really tough time if myself or the other full time employee left.

I'm in a low density area with a high proportion of elderly that will get hit hard if they catch it.  Many of them are floating the river in Egypt, and just don't comprehend.   There are only 3 cases so far in the Upper Peninsula, and non in our county, but the snowbirds and people from down state are starting to head this way to "escape".

I've got a broken toe, so hiking out on the ice to fish is not going to work.  I'm waiting for the ice to break up and get some time on the yak, another three to four weeks, to chase some lakers and splake.

stay safe

What part of North. Italy ? my Grandparents were from South of Genoa , Riva Trigoso. I still have family there ,but we haven`t heard anything from my other cousins

Casella and Montoggio. Your family is much further south.

I think all my wife’s relatives in Italy we know of have passed.   Last we’re two spinster aunts.   Actually Switzerland side of the border, Bodio, by Lugano.   Beautiful area, hope the relatives stay healthy.
