The snakehead bite is slow during the winter but you can still get them, however the chain pickerel are always very active. Very cool. Are you fishing for them in MD? If so, whereabouts? We lived in MD for 7+ years...

I'm pretty sure some species of snakehead are considered excellent table fare, not sure exactly which ones though.

Hell YES!!!  smuggle a few and toss'em in the delta......i got alotta bass lures that need some use.    good to read from ya' buddy.
