Met Jose this morning banker fisherman who got me excited about fishing Napa River... said when asked what was biggest stripper (53”) on the Napa River... also a 123” released sturgeon!!! Dam :smt044

Fish were working the surface didn’t fish... I just come to this spot to chill n kill time... gonna start putting in and working up River... that big stripper was landed near the Trancas bridge... :smt044

Striper fishing was really good about six weeks ago but its slowed alot with the colder temps. Some nice sturgeon have been caught a little further south of there near the 29 bridge in the last two weeks. If you work your way upriver, watch the regulation changes at the Trancas Bridge.
