crabs and dabs, hulicat sportfishing, half moon bay - 1/19/2020

mostly it's just for the dungeness crab!  mom and dad really love these things.  i hopped on the hulicat this morning and was met with this!



didn't know it, but brad and dean would be on board.



it was a little too blustery to fish for sand dabs, so we ended up pulling pots.



we pulled 10-12 pots for an easy limit of crab for 7 passengers and 2 crew. 



they were cracked and cleaned at the harbor, then cooked as soon as i got home.  i'll head to fresno tomorrow and had dinner with the folks.  both of my parents really love crab.  thanks again to mike, zack and hulicat sportfishing.  they run a "crab only" this thursday and a "crab and dab" trip on saturday.  go get 'em!

Just curious how much these trips cost nowadays?

crab only is $100, crab and dab is $150.  but remember, if you buy at the dock, 10 crabs will go for $150 to 200!!!!!!

Wow! Worth it, too bad you didn’t get some dabs those are some tasty MF.
