Hello NCKA

I've been a member for some time now but recently haven't spent any time with the club instead focusing my efforts with the Western Sea Kayaker club based in Sunnyvale. I've been tasked with reaching out to NCKA to see if we could interest you in sending someone to make a kayak fishing presentation to our club during one of our monthly meetings in either Feburary, March or April 2020.These meetings are held at the Sunnyvale Sports Basement on Kern Blvd. near the Lawrence expressway and 101 on the first Wednesday of the month, we offer our members refreshments which suffice as a dinner to most at 6:30 and a meeting at around 7:00PM.
Possible topics might include: how does someone who has never fished get started, license requirements; kayak gear; fishing gear; what you can catch; where's places to fish; etc. Maybe bring a rigged kayak?
This would be an opportunity for you to showcase your sport to a group of like minded water sports enthusiasts possibly gaining additional members to your club.
Thanks for your attention to this request, we look forward to your reply.

TLA and MooMoo come to mind.

Maybe guides from the Santa Cruz/Monterey area would be interested.  Bushy, Adam...

North bay guides might be on it too.  Midwest?...

If I lived down there I'd be interested.

The fact that we almost exclusively use SOT's is maybe a hurdle for your club members who are likely all in SIK's.
I am a licensed guide.  DFW Guide ID:  1000124.   Let's do a trip together.

Being an honorable sportsman is way more important than what you catch.

Brain, i'll touch base with you since that is my side of the bay, and not to far from where i reside. Seems like it's a good opportunity to network and share the love of the sport. --TLA

I live in Redwood City and am more than happy to bring a rig over and talk! Any excuse to talk fishing is a good one!
