Changing the gear up a little.  Everything used for only for this 2019 year for halibut/striper/perch season, but some are still new.  No broken guides, everything still works great.  Always rinsed with freshwater as soon as possible, then inside a rod sock and stored indoors.  Upgrading to some of Daiwa’s newest line of rods and reels.

Purchase a rod and reel, and I’ll throw in a free rod sock.

Casting rods:

Daiwa Procyon PCY761HFB, cork grip, Brand New - $70
Daiwa Procyon PCY731MHFB, cork grip, used - $50
Daiwa Procyon PCY701MHXB, cork grip, Brand New - $70

Spinning rods:

Daiwa Acculite ACSS862MHFS, cork grip, Brand New - $50
Daiwa Acculite ACSS862MHFS, foam grip, used - $30
Daiwa Acculite ALSS962LSS, cork grip, used - $20

Reels:

Daiwa Saltist ICS 103SH-L, left hand, 30lb PP braid, Brand New - $175
Daiwa Tatula Type-R CT100HL 6.3, left hand, 30lb PP braid, used - $75
Daiwa LD20 2-speed, right hand, 50lb PP braid, used - $175

Kevin, I am really pleased with their Surf Special series of Saltist spinning rods. I highly recommend this for the light tackle surf fisherman.
It handled a few 15 to 20 lb Stripers. Great sensitivity and very light in the hand. Paired with a light spinning reel. Can't go wrong.
