Do you guys know if Hobie is going to bring the 360 drive to the Outback? It is pretty cool but not ready for a Pro Angler...

I don't think so, since putting it on any normal kayak would risk flipping it over...

Yes, especially if you have to buy a PA to get it. I would not be surprised if something like that eventually replaces the 180 drive, except it just goes forward and backward, no sideways. That would be a huge improvement on the 180 drive, IMHO.

The 360 drive build looks like it will be much more reliable than past models. I don’t really care about the 360 part but I would like to see the kick up fins come to the outback.

Wow.  Looks really complicated to operate.  So that swivels and you still have a rudder? I’ll never be able to get that to go straight

I cant find the clip at the moment, but I swear that Hobie said that they're trying to make the 360 drive available on Outbacks for 2021.
