Good spots for Leopard shark fishing from shore.

It’s been a long time since I’ve caught one and I’d like to get out and try to land a few. But I don’t know where a good spot is for targeting them. I’ve only ever caught them by accident. Never specifically targeted them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Might be a little late but Bolinas Lagoon always had big leopards and bat rays. 

Otherwise, Alameda Rock Wall or the peninsula side has been my go-to's  to soak bait for them.

Bolinas Lagoon or Tomales Bay.

Seen a few recently caught at the jetty at loch lomond

Most muddy shoreline on the bay will produce. 

San Mateo, Hayward, Redwood City, Dumbarton.

Squid on a 6/0 barbless circle hook.

Elkhorn Slough is always a great place for that!

Just wondering, the barbless is for an easy release?

Yeah on the barbless. They're a pain to get off the hook with a barb.

Yes, slides out like butter and is always mouth hooked.

I don't fish for them anymore but when I did I don't recall ever losing a single leopard or batray with a barbless circle hook.
