Tent cabins on the north coast...

Hey Everyone,
 I am looking into a camping trip on the noarth coast for some diving and rockfishing sometime in august...My sister wants to bring her toddler but not unless there are tent cabins or something more sophisticated than a plain old campground. Any suggestions for areas near Salt Point or Van Damme?

I think there is a KOA in Mendocino.

Also, you might consider renting an RV for the weekend... even just a tent trailer... expensive but will greatly expand your camping options.

Theres a KOA campground in Manchester (Ft. Bragg) which is very nice.It is South of Elk and has all the amenities for a family type stay. Swimming pool, store, outside kitchen, playground, rec. room, etc. etc.
