Hi All!! my name is Ed. I've been a guest to the forum and finally "did the deed". I'm kind of a newbie. Been yaking around monterey, sf bay, tomales, pt reyes, doran and timber cove. Have boat fished since I was a kid and always have loved being out on the water. This kayak fishing though, is such a KICK!! and addicting. Just recently (sept 5th and 6th) finished an awesome 2 day trip with guide Eric Stockwell (loletaeric) at shelter cove. Check out this site or his facebook page and see how we did. It was sooooo much fun!!! (i'm the chubby guy, lol). Eric is very enthusiastic and passionate about what he does. Knows the reefs and their proximity to sand. Puts you onto the fish. BEST GUIDE EVER!!!
I'm really looking forward to meeting as many of you out on the water and to share this kayak fishing thing we all enjoy. Be safe and enjoy living this life. Yeah baby!!! Ed

Welcome to the forum Ed.
I am also located in Walnut Creek and fish all the locations you mentioned. We should do some trips together sometime and carpool.

Hi John, Thanks for the response. I'm located in south WC and planning on trolling for kings this weekend off paradise cay/calif city area in the bay. Tides aren't the best, but u never know. Typically they pass thru on their way up to the Sacramento. Halibut are close by as well in the cay. If ur interested 925-899-6697
