Sacramento/American River Salmon

Any of you guys fish for salmon up here in the Sacramento area? I'm pretty new to kayak fishing in general and want to do some salmon fishing but don't see too many yakers out there. Most guys seem to stick to the bank or have boats. Any tips, or any of you guys go out there regularly and want to meet up? Tips and reports would be appreciated.

There's a whole clan of kayak fisherman in Sac aka SacCrew! We're around, but honestly the fish are just starting to show up. I'll be fishing Sunday morning at Howe. Get em while there in😉

Cool, well I hope I can  meet up with you guys at some point. Right now I'm pretty much picking up all the info I can on youtube, and from what folks post on FB or various boards. It seems like it's been a pretty good season so far.
