bodega and salt point

I went out salmon fishing in the power boat and fished with the fleet in 350 ft of water, out from the Russian River.We spent the whole day to get four king salmon as well as 4 nice silvers which we released. The water was crystal clear and the fish were caught anywhere from 40-80ft with a 2 lb ball early, and on the downrigger later in the day at 140 ft..

   Monday I went out for rockies, at Salt Point. We were fishing anywhere from 90-150 ft deep. the wind was blowing at 15 knots and we needed to use our drift socks to slow our drift. We still did pretty good, I caught two lings a 25" and a 29" as well as a yellow tail , brown, some blues. Schroeder caught a couple of nice reds a copper, and some blues. We steamed the fish whole with ginger olive oil and a little soy sauce, wow was it good.Looks like I will be taking some time off from fishing due to windy seas, but it is all good, I still have 3 weeks off from work. I hope the winds die down so I can out more often.
