Diawa BG 4000..Trust me. You won't regret

I've had them both and IMHO Stradics (all Shimano reels) are over-rated.  These are under-rated.  Great reels.

I'm slowly moving my Shimano gear towards diawa. I've been very impressed with the Lexa 300, and been looking to add some Spinners, I think I'll take another great recomendation from this board and look at the BG's, only thing that kept me from pulling the trigger was the price was so low, made me cautious.

I love my BG. Best reel for the dough. Always been partial to daiwa. Buuuut it aint got nothing on my shimanos. They're just so smooth and better built in my opinion. I love my Gosa and would take it any day over a BG for stripers/salmon. I use my BG for off the rocks getting lings. Just my 2 cents
A jerk at one end of the line waiting for a jerk at the other end.
