Putting it out there that I am camping near crescent city August 4-8 and plan to hit the rock cod and lings and whatever else is hitting when /if I can get out with weather issues.
Anyone else in the area during that time let me know and we can “hook” up. I lived in the area for many years and know many spots that I’d be happy to share.

I missed this post! Hope you had a successful time here. I was probably targeting Calibutts on South Beach around then. It was a good year for them. Hope you tried 6th St. for rocks and lings. Maybe next summer.

I didn’t do bad. Normally try to get up there mid to late August or early September as the water is more predictable that time of year. Maybe we can hook up next year.
