The connecting slough between the west end of Sherman that goes to broad slough frequently has close calls. Ask me how I know.

Delta is full of little waterways that morons blow threw at full speed! never center channel sit.... Kayak-er placed himself in that situation and I'd have some things to say to the guy about my boat repairs.... Wonder if he was blamed for the grounding of the boat? Be careful out there. Near Lodi and disco bay is some of the most dangerous areas I've been in :smt006
my new name should be Ostridge. Got my head in the sand. Going fishing and letting go of the other stuff I can't control anyway!

looks like an average weekend on the North Fork of Folsom Lake. :smt011

All jokes aside, I have had a powerboat on the Delta buzz me, loop around and do it again.  it was "fun" for them.  i mentioned it at the marina and the response I got was indifferent so I have stayed away from the Delta ever since.

That doesn’t look anything remotely close to a channel, video refers to it as a creek, looks like a creek....I’m guessing it’s a creek arm off a major waterway.  Regardless, its usually a boat under power that has to give way to a boat at rest, under human or wind power.  I’d respectfully hear you out and retort with a nice pun for the purpose of self amusement....go float a boat, go pound sand....etc  :smt003

And yes.....the delta, Franks has a couple channels that split through narrow gaps in the old levee that are now tule berms.  I’ve seen both ski and bass boats slow down to a modest 25-30kts and cut through them.  Seems ridiculously foolish and dangerous but have not seen or heard of any incidents yet.
