Here's a quick clip I put together of salmon fishing last week at Linda Mar with some tips of where to Land and Launch. Enjoy!

Thanks for that, the main thing holding me back from the TI is the launch/land so it’s nice to see the video Want to know what I’m getting into especially if I’m taking my son out

When break is bigger what are you doing once you pull up the drive?

Would be nice if somebody with a GoPro on board would post launching/landing at Bolinas which tends to be a bit more on the exciting side

I watched Chet land Brighton and it was nerve wracking watching the break going in behind him, not sure what his approach is

This looks like a good idea. He used a drift chute on his TI surf landing to prevent it from going sideways.

Thanks for the launching tip Jae!!!

About the drift chute, it looks like it could get dicey if you let the 4-5ft wave crash on your kayak. For one thing, the motor could get flooded. And let's say you see an opening where you could normally accelerate and get a clear path to land, you wouldn't be able to accelerate with a drift chute behind you.

I might have a few clips coming in from bolinas with a full AI. When the sets are bigger I usually time the sets where i often ride the back of the 3rd wave in. If for some reason I need to slow my progress I have my paddle in hand to do so.

The Bland Brothers(Andrew and Ally) are often doing surf launches and landings without any issues on their TI. It would be nice to get some clips of those pros in action.

Thanks for the tip about Linda Mar. I haven't tried to launch from there yet but this is helpful.
