Looking forward to any reports, ocean looking no bueno... might have a day on Monday for T bay.

Pretty slow today (8-31) for most of the kayaks. Lots of bait but they just were not biting. I even tried putting fresh squid on the sabiki hooks, only managed to catch my finger. Bounced a swim bait all day on one rod and drifted squid 8’ down from a float with the other rod.

At one point I marked a school of large fish at 20’ in 40’ of water. I could see my swim bait on the ff so I bought it up into the school and started bouncing it. After 20 seconds or so Bam my reel starts screaming. I’m thinking WSB or striper as I’m fighting it in. After about 10 min. I can see what’s at the end of the line.....a giant Bay Ray. Beautiful day on the water.

I will be launching out by Hog Island a little late,  but let's get it!
