Can I please get recommendations where to get the drive repair? Hows the warranty works? Its 2017.

Bring it into CCK in Oakland. Sometimes they don't charge you depending on the failure.
CCK in redwood city doesn't have the support Oakland has and probably will require an appointment.
The few times (3X) I brought my kayaks in for service, it's pretty reasonable.

If CCK doesn't work out...I may have an old MD 180 spine laying around and should have the parts you need IF you know how to fix it yourself. Let me know and it's yours. I've had my fair share of MD180 issues...
