Has anyone tried eating halibut fillets with the skin on? I do that with salmon... when grilled skin side down I can get the skin really crispy. Salmon skin doesn't seem nearly as slimy as halibut skin.

Yes, it pretty similar to all other white meat fish skin (ex.Rockfish).
Just make sure to scale well. If you are worried about slime, rub salt & it'll wipe off :smt006

BBQ skin side down, 3 min
Flip back onto skin, 3 min
Remove flesh, leave skin 3 min
This way works for me
