Downrigger weight replacemet

Simplycook, Kevin, and I were fishing Bolinas yesterday when I snagged my donwrigger weight on a reef (Today, after viewing Navionics, I discovered I was primarily fishing over a very reefy portion off Bolinas.  Duh!)

Any recommendations on a 4lb downrigger weight?  I see they range in price from $45- $15.  I believe I had a Cannon Flash weight. Amazon wants $43.

Of yeah, and if you read this far you deserve a fishing report Kevin: 2 keeper size halibut, returned back to see, 4 keeper dungies.  (The crazy mo fo decides to take 2 Danielson cage trips and the water was not calm by any means.) Mike: 2 take home Croakers. Sad to admit but they were delicious breaded in Panko bread crumbs and fried up.

2 Halibut (22" and 24") released
Tons of croakers between 8-14"
2 barred surf perch
4 keeper dungies, 1 red rock crab
0 salmon
1 yard sale.  Lost my net, bent my mirage drive rods, and one bruised ego.

You might want to consider the cast iron DR balls they sell at BPS (among other places):

Buy this one. A side note, it's not lead so the size is a little larger than 4lb lead ball. Price is unbeatable and has good shape so it tracks well.

Cheap and Amazon-easy. Sounds like a winner. Thanks for the tip. BTW, while Kevin and other spectators were watching from shore,  I almost yard saled.  A wave came up from behind me, my kayak rotated about 20 degrees to one side I thought I was done for, and then the wave passed under me.
